Ripe Australian Produce is a foodie cafe owned and run by hills locals. Established in 1999, Ripe is located in the quaint Sassafras Village in the Dandenong Ranges, about a 45 minute drive east of Melbourne. Our multi-award winning pastry chef serves up exceptionally delicious house made pastries, cakes, biscuits and scones. Our chefs use local, fresh and ethically sourced produce offering an all day breakfast and lunch menu that includes a veggie love section, with plenty of vegan and gluten free meals and cakes. Our head barista is passionate about quality coffee so we have partnered with Melba Organic Roasters, nine time winners of the golden bean coffee roasting competition.
