As Melbournian's, food and wine is an big part of our social culture. At Ripe Sassafras, we are focused on bringing you fresh, local and ethically sourced produce with menus updated twice each season.
Our wines are from our neighbouring wine makers in the Yarra Valley along with Heathcote and the Mornington Peninsula.
Our beers and ciders are from some of the larger Victorian breweries but also from some local craft breweries in the Yarra Valley. We now also stock speciality beverages from Billson's Brewery, Beechworth.
Our lunch menu has something for everyone with a special focus on vegan and gluten free dishes. We also have weekly chef's specials, including some lighter lunch options, advertised most days on our Chef's Specials board in-venue.
