Ripe is a destination café restaurant located in Sassafras, in the Dandenong Ranges. It is a popular tourist destination on the fringe of the eastern suburbs, about 45 minutes from Melbourne. Operating for over 20 years, Ripe was established by one of the regions award winning chefs and maintains a reputation for serving quality a la carte breakfast and lunch menus that change seasonally, using local produce incorporating vegetarian and vegan.

We have a brilliant opportunity for 1-2 talented, creative and experienced chefs. The role is flexible; work 2-3 days and enjoy a work life balance or step it up to full time. By day, work alongside our breakfast and lunch team in our vibrant and fast paced café and by night, launch a series of evening restaurant dining events in collaboration with the events management team.
The successful applicant will be creative, reliable, passionate and a team player with substantial experience in a fast-paced kitchen, preferably in a café environment, and have demonstrated culinary expertise, taking our customers food experience to the next level.
